Mrs. Diana Brantley appointed as new principal of Summit Academy-Bluffdale

Mrs. Brantley joins the Summit Academy-Bluffdale staff following an extensive career in education. As one of Summit Academy’s Founding Advisory Council members and 1st grade teachers, Mrs. Brantley taught at the Draper campus from when Summit Academy first opened its doors in 2004 until 2014. In 2014, she helped open the Independence campus as assistant principal.

We invite you to take a few minutes out of your busy schedules to come and spend some time with Mrs. Brantley and Mrs. Tucker next Tuesday, May 29th at 7:00 p.m. at the Summit Academy-Bluffdale campus.

A little bit about Mrs. Brantley:
Mrs. Diana Brantley has been a valuable member of the Summit Academy family from the very beginning. As one of Summit Academy’s Founding Advisory Council Members and 1st grade teachers, Mrs. Brantley taught at the Draper campus from when Summit Academy first opened its doors in 2004 until 2014. Then in 2014, she helped open the Independence campus as assistant principal and has served in that position to date.

Graduating with a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Brigham Young University, Mrs. Brantley has dedicated her life to help each individual child realize their full potential.  Before coming to Summit Academy, Mrs. Brantley was very busy raising her family and working with the foster care system. In all, sixty-six foster children were given a loving and nurturing home!

Mrs. Brantley will greatly miss the students and faculty at the Independence campus but is extremely excited for the opportunity to serve as the new principal of the Bluffdale campus for the new school year and work with the amazing Bluffdale students, families, and staff.
